Short answer: ReelRise: AI to Go Viral is a real app from a real company, ReelRise LLC, so it isn't a scam in the take-your-money-and-disappear sense. It also isn't the "ReelRise" that pays you to watch reels; that's a different app. But its main promise doesn't hold up. ReelRise says it predicts your video's views, likes, shares and comments before you post, and no app can do that, because virality is decided by how real viewers react once TikTok or Instagram shows them your video. Your own analytics and studying what already works in your niche are a better use of the money.

ReelRise: AI to Go Viral · ReelRise LLC · iPhone and Android · 4.7★ from about 1,200 App Store ratings · from $9.99/month or $29.99/year · View on the App Store
Can ReelRise predict your views, likes and shares?
No. ReelRise's App Store listing says it "analyzes 30+ factors" to forecast views, likes, shares and comments, and its website promises you'll "know your number before you post". But likes, shares and comments aren't properties of a video file. They're decisions made by the people who see it: whether someone sends it to a friend, argues in the comments, or scrolls past. Instagram and TikTok then decide who sees it next, based on how those first viewers reacted. A like count for a Reel nobody has watched yet has nothing behind it.
What ReelRise can look at is the clip itself (music, hashtags, pacing, thumbnail) and rate it against a checklist. Every app in this category works that way; I built one myself, which I explain in my Go Viral review.
What the evidence shows
When one creator ran two of her videos with over 2 million views and one with 7,000 through an app like this, the 7,000-view video got the highest rating (full breakdown). And none of ReelRise's written App Store reviews compares a forecast with the real result (see below).

Just a fun little experiment I did this weekend. #fyp #contentcreator #contentcreation
Watch on TikTokThe "Safety Check" grades compliance, not virality
ReelRise's Safety Check flags content that might cost you reach, such as exaggerated claims or explicit content. Staying inside Instagram's and TikTok's guidelines matters, but it tells you whether a video is allowed, not whether people will share it. Bold claims and provocative hooks are all over the For You page. An app that marks them down is grading rule-following, not shareability.
Where ReelRise goes further
ReelRise has more extras than most rivals: AI re-edits you approve, TikTok and Instagram profile audits, and posting-time suggestions. Treat those as a coach's opinion and some of it may help. Watch the limits, though: 10 analyses a week are included, and each extra one costs 50 credits, so a $5.99 pack buys four more. If you already pay for ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, that is overpriced: with the right prompt you can run the same analyses yourself at no extra cost.
What App Store reviewers say about ReelRise
ReelRise averages 4.7 stars from about 1,200 ratings. These are the reviews shown on its US App Store page, quoted as written.
★★★★★ "How to go viral" (June 2026), posted under the name "ReelRise"
"Well I lowkey just started the app on search of methods to go viral so I'll leave another review on how the app helped me and share results"
★☆☆☆☆ "Mindless" (August 2026)
"I even put that it's a video game channel and it started just telling me to advertise trips to Asia on tik tok […] that's not what I intend to do or the audience that I'm looking for at all"
ReelRise replied that the "Asia trip" video is "only a demo example" shown during onboarding, and that recommendations are based on your own content once you upload it.
★★★★★ "The best" (August 2026)
"Exactly what everyone aspiring person needs to grow big"
None of the written reviews shows a prediction checked against real results. The positive ones describe hope or a single good post; the negative one describes off-topic advice, which ReelRise says came from a demo.
Is the ReelRise app legit or a scam?
ReelRise: AI to Go Viral is legit in the narrow sense: it's published on the App Store and Google Play, its website names ReelRise LLC in Sharjah Media City (UAE), and the App Store lists Elizaveta Tirskikh as the seller. It delivers the analysis it advertises. The problem is the promise: charging a subscription to forecast views, likes and shares is selling something no app can do.
- It doesn't pay you. Some YouTube videos call a "ReelRise" app a fake get-paid-to-watch scheme. That's a different app. The AI coach reviewed here never promises to pay you; you pay it.
- Most "reviews" are creator posts. In October 2026, Google's results for "is ReelRise legit" showed TikTok and Instagram tag pages and YouTube videos, but no independent written review. Treat creator posts praising the app as ads unless they show real before-and-after numbers.
- Privacy: the App Store privacy label lists identifiers, your photos and videos, usage data including advertising data, and diagnostics. Your unpublished videos are processed on ReelRise's servers.
ReelRise price, free trial and how to cancel
ReelRise costs $9.99 a month, $12.99 for Pro or $29.99 a month for Max on the US App Store. The yearly plan is $29.99 and starts with a 3-day free trial; there's no free version after that. Every plan includes a weekly allowance (ReelRise's limits page lists 10 video analyses per 7 days). Past that, each analysis costs 50 credits, so a $5.99 pack of 200 credits buys 4 more and a $14.99 pack of 600 buys 12.
To cancel on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ReelRise → Cancel Subscription.
To cancel on Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ReelRise → Cancel subscription.
Deleting the app doesn't cancel the subscription, and you need to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. The official Android app is "ReelRise: AI to Go Viral" on Google Play; another Android app is also called ReelRise, so check the name before installing.

ReelRise FAQ
What is ReelRise?
ReelRise: AI to Go Viral is an iPhone and Android app from ReelRise LLC. You upload a TikTok, Reel or Short, and it scores the video, forecasts views, likes, shares and comments, and suggests changes. It can also re-edit videos and audit your TikTok or Instagram profile.
Does ReelRise actually work?
As a source of tips, sometimes. As a predictor, no. Its forecasts come from your video file alone, while real performance depends on how viewers react once the platform shows them your video. No app can see that in advance.
How much does ReelRise cost?
On the US App Store: $9.99/month, $12.99 for Pro, $29.99/month for Max, or $29.99/year with a 3-day free trial. Extra credits cost $5.99 for 200 or $14.99 for 600.
Is ReelRise free? Can you use it for free?
Only during the 3-day free trial on the yearly plan. After that, you need a subscription.
Does ReelRise pay you to watch reels?
No. ReelRise: AI to Go Viral is a paid tool for analyzing your own videos. YouTube videos about a "ReelRise" that pays you to watch reels are about a different app.
Is the ReelRise app legit and safe?
It's a real app from a real company (ReelRise LLC, UAE), not a scam. Whether it's worth paying for is another question, because its core promise, predicting performance, isn't something any app can deliver. Its privacy label says it collects identifiers, your videos and usage data.
Is ReelRise the same as the Go Viral app?
No. ReelRise is made by ReelRise LLC; Go Viral: AI Creator Assistant is made by Solveware UG in Germany. They work the same way and have the same limits. See my Go Viral app review.
Does ReelRise work for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts?
It accepts TikToks, Reels and Shorts, and it can audit Instagram profiles. For Reels, Instagram's free professional dashboard shows how your posted Reels actually performed, which is more useful than a forecast.
Is ReelRise worth it if I only post a few reels a week?
No. At that pace, the free analytics in Instagram and TikTok Studio tell you more about your audience than a predicted score.
What's a good ReelRise alternative?
Tools that show real data: Instagram's professional dashboard and TikTok Studio for your own posts, TikTok Creative Center for trends, and Creafico for seeing which videos are outperforming in your niche.
How do I cancel ReelRise?
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ReelRise → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ReelRise → Cancel. Deleting the app doesn't cancel it.
Not to be confused with: this review covers ReelRise: AI to Go Viral from reelrise.app. It isn't the "ReelRise" get-paid-to-watch app shown in some YouTube videos, the other ReelRise app on Google Play, or reelrise.ai. If you searched "Real Rise app" or "Reel Rise", you probably mean this one (or the Redington Rise fly-fishing reel).
